"My husband and I moved to Hayesville, North Carolina last year with the idea of building the home of our dreams. I'm what you would call a "gadget freak" and have spent a lot of my life trying to get different electronic systems to talk to each other in the houses I have owned. I dreamt of a house which would have ALL the things I ever wanted, such as top notch security, cameras you could view over the internet, whole house vacuum, intelligent lighting that I could control myself, state of the art satellite signal distribution in high definition, a remote that could talk to all the equipment, video displays that would tell me what was going on in the house, smart climate control, high quality sound distribution, and a state of the art home theater.
